Horizon Church is a friendly, Bible-centred Christian church in Stanley, Wakefield, serving the local community and the wider Wakefield and Leeds area. We’re a diverse church family of all ages, united in our love for Jesus and our desire to grow in faith together.
Every Sunday at 10:30am, we gather to worship Jesus Christ, explore the Bible in a practical and relevant way, pray together, and encourage one another to live out our faith with compassion and hope in our town and city.
Formerly known as Zion Christian Centre, Horizon Church continues the same church family and biblical mission — now under a name that reflects what God is doing among us today as we faithfully serve Stanley, Wakefield, and beyond.

At Horizon Church, we believe every community and person around us matters. Many people who are part of Horizon Church travel from some of these very areas each week.
